The fake stock that became a real coin

Robinhood
made it fake.
We made it real.

Walnut Furnishings Corporation began as a fictional meme stock made by Robinhood. The internet saw the joke, claimed the ticker, and turned it into $WFNT—a real coin with a real community.

“They invented the company.
We invented the market.”

It started with Robinhood creating Walnut Furnishings Corporation: a fake meme stock, a fictional company, and a very real-looking ticker built for the joke.

But the internet has never been especially good at leaving fiction alone. The community found the walnut, recognized the assignment, and did the only reasonable thing: made it trade for real.

That is $WFNT: the coin born when a corporate prop escaped into the wild. Robinhood supplied the lore. The community supplied the conviction. Now the fake furniture company has a real place onchain.

Never waste a good nut.

Old lore is reclaimed wood. Sand it down, give it care, and build again.

The contract is the label under the chair. Check it before you take anything home.

The stock was fake. The community isn’t.
